Erie County Council Tuesday night voted in favor of a county-wide smoking ban.
A crowd of more than 50 people showed up to voice their opposition, but it wasn`t enough to stop the vote.
The ordinance passed 6-1.
The County Executive has to sign the ordinance, and it officially becomes the law ten days later.
Officials say the smoking ban should go into effect by the end of February
ITS ABOUT TIME.....YAY....Sorry for the people who smoke, but I like my lungs clean when I go out into the public. That is all for now and Have a Nice Day :-)

When it finally becomes into effect, WE ARE GOING OUT DRINKING! And the best part is, I will only have to drink 2-3 beers! And I am not sorry to those who smoke. Maybe this can be a good wake up call for all of you and make you QUIT. SMOKING SUCKS!
